Understandably, patients have many questions
related to the cost of Cosmetic surgery. Below
are some frequently asked questions Our patient
coordinator can answer any remaining questions
you might have.
Cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance, we
ask that payment be made prior to your
procedure. A small deposit will be collected in
order to secure a surgery date, and the balance
will be collected two weeks prior to surgery.
What payment options are available?
Payment is accepted in the form of personal
check, money order, cashier's check, cash,
MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover.

desiring to finance their surgical procedures,
we do accept patient financing through the

Does Dr. Gibby offer financing options?
Yes, we do. If you are interested in financing your surgery, our patient care coordinator will be happy to review the various finance options listed above with you.
Is there a charge for the consultation?
Yes, there is. The fee for a consultation for
cosmetic surgery is $90, which is payable at the
time of the initial visit. This is applied
towards your surgery fee when you schedule
surgery.
What if I am unsure after my consultation, can I
come back?
Dr. Gibby wants all your questions answered
before you decide to have surgery. If you desire
to see her again after your initial
consultation, you may do so at no additional
cost.
How much will the surgery cost?
The cost of surgery is variable, depending on
the procedure you select. After your
consultation, a fee will be quoted for the
procedure, the anesthesia and the operating room
facility which will be reviewed with you.
Additional fees incurred, may include the cost
of prescription medications, medical clearance
by your personal physician, interpretation and
or performance of lab tests or an unanticipated
overnight stay in Medical City Dallas Hospital.
Will my procedure be covered by insurance?
Cosmetic procedures are not covered by
insurance. Patients may be interested in
procedures that are occasionally covered by some
insurance carriers. Writing a letter to request
pre-determination and filing the claim is a
courtesy that Dr. Gibby extends to her
patients. Dr. Gibby is not a provider on any insurance plan and you may not receive full benefits by going out of network. We will be happy to work with you and
your insurance company; however, all fees are
the patient’s responsibility prior to the
surgery performed. |
